Technology Guide to Remote Working

Whether you often work from the road or simply need to be able to occasionally work from home occasion, there are tools to ensure that you can perform your job with ease. Online meetings can be held, files can be accessed and stored online with OneDrive, share your computer screen with colleagues, make audio calls via your computer, and more. We are offering workshops on how to use these tools. Register for a workshop.

Test your tools before they're needed. Follow this checklist to make sure you're ready to work remotely.

Laptops are available for faculty and staff to request if you do not have a laptop as your Bowdoin-issued computer and your home computer is not adequate to perform your general work. To request a laptop, please check with your supervisor and then complete the laptop request form. The Service Desk will contact you to make arrangements.
