Padlet is an online virtual “bulletin” board, where students and teachers can collaborate, reflect, share links and pictures, in a secure location.

Accessing Padlet

Faculty initially access Padlet as a Student.

  1. In a web browser go to: https://bowdoin.padlet.orgNote: Once logged in to https://bowdoin.padlet.org contact Paul Benham to be given the Teacher role.
  2. Select Login with Microsoft
  3. Sign in with your Bowdoin email
  4. This will take you to Bowdoin's Single Sign-on page where you will use your Bowdoin login. 

Students access Padlet from links created in Canvas. Student accounts are automatically created when accessing a Padlet through their Canvas course..

NOTE: Padlet has only a loose integration with Bowdoin accounts through our single sign-on system. Padlet accounts are separate from Bowdoin accounts.
