How to use #CampusClear self-survey for COVID symptoms

The College has launched CampusClear, a self-screening app, as part of our comprehensive strategy for controlling the spread of COVID-19 on campus.

  1. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play and download the CampusClear app. It's free!

If you prefer to use a laptop or desktop computer, you can use the web version of this app in any browser: https://web.ivy.ai/app/campusclear
  1. The first time you open the app it will explain how the data is being used and ask for your consent.

  2. Once you consent, indicate whether you are a Student, Employee or Visitor. Tap Next
  3. Enter your Bowdoin email address (it MUST be a Bowdoin.edu address). Tap Submit
  4. Check your email. You will receive an email with a link to verify that your address is "real". 
  5. Open the email and click "Confirm email". 
  6. Go back to the #CampusClear app. When prompted for notifications, tap Allow. You will be notified on your device once per day as a reminder to submit your self-survey.
  7. Tap Start.
  8. Tap the icon(s) that represent your health that day.

  9. Scroll to the bottom and tap See Result
  10. When you submit "No Symptoms", you will see an all clear message. You may be asked to show that message in order to enter certain buildings or attend events on campus.

    You are clear

The next time you open the app, you'll go straight to the symptom reporting screen, there won't be a need to go through the initial consent panels again.
