How to install Microsoft FindTime

Microsoft FindTime is an add-in for Outlook that allows meeting organizers to poll their invitees to locate a time where the most people can meet. It is similar to a Doodle Poll but integrated into all versions of Outlook. While Doodle polls are nice, there is no campus support for the use of the product. It is recommended to install and use FindTime.

FindTime is available for Outlook on the web, Outlook Desktop, and Outlook Mobile.


You only need to install the FindTime add-in once for all versions of Outlook that you use, and your invitees do not have to have it installed for them to answer any of the polls you send.

To install FindTime, follow the instructions that fit your situation.

Installing FindTime in Outlook Desktop (for Windows or Mac)

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Go to Home - Get Add-ins.
  3. Search for the FindTime add-in.
  4. Select Add.
  5. You will now see the Find Time Reply with Meeting Poll in the Home tab.

Installing FindTime in Outlook for the web

  1. Open Outlook for the web in your browser (
  2. Select New message to open a new email.
  3. To the right of the Send and Discard buttons, select the ellipses button (...) and select Get-Add-ins
  4. Search for the FindTime add-in.
  5. Click on the FindTime add-in to install it. 
  6. To use the app, click the ellipses button (...) again from a message and select FindTime​​​​​​​.
