Change your Voicemail Greeting from the Web

Log in to the Cisco Unity web interface

The web interface can be accessed at https://voicemail.bowdoin.edu. You will log on with your Bowdoin user name and password through single sign-on. If you are already logged in to another service that uses single sign-on, you will not be asked to log in again.

Click on Messaging Assistant to get to your personal voicemail options.

Select the "Greetings" drop-down from the menu bar and click View Greetings.

You will see which of your Greetings is enabled. Select the Greeting you wish to change; it will be highlighted in blue and you will be taken to the next screen.

You can view and update the status of your greeting. You can Play and Record your greeting, or choose a system default greeting. Please note that the system will call your desk phone for you to play and record greetings from your phone, not your computer. You can select an alternative prompt for callers. When you have finished making changes, click on Save.
