Step 4: Set Security Questions and Responses

You will now be asked to choose or create a security question and answer that can be used as an option to reset your password if forgotten.

  1. You must now create a security question and answer that can be used as a method to reset your Bowdoin password, if needed. Click Setup

Step 5: Provide a Secondary, non-Bowdoin Email Address

You will be asked to provide a secondary (non-Bowdoin) email address. This may present itself as optional but we do want everyone to complete this information. By providing an alternative email address, if you need to have your password reset and do NOT remember your security questions, your reset links are sent only to this listed secondary email address.

  1. Enter a secondary (non-Bowdoin) email address and click Finish

Okta window asking for a secondary email address to be entered in the field provided.

  2. Check your email account for a verification email and instructions.
