Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin students, faculty, and staff using Apple Mail on a Mac running macOS. Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, and Notes are all managed from the same Internet Accounts location, so adding the account once makes it available to each of these apps.
Resolution
- Open the Apple menu and select System Settings.
- Select Internet Accounts.

- Click Add Account...
- Enter your email address and click Continue
- Select Microsoft Exchange.

- Enter your name and click Sign In
- Enter your name, email address, and password for your Bowdoin account, then select Sign In.
- At the Sign in to your Exchange account using Microsoft? prompt, select Sign In.
- Enter your password at the Bowdoin single sign-in page and authenticate with two-factor authentication.
- Select which apps to use with your Bowdoin account, then select Done.

- Open Mail and confirm that the mailbox and its messages are downloading correctly.
