How to view a shared calendar in Outlook for Windows

How can I open a calendar that a colleague or group has shared with me?


Instructions:

You can use Outlook to allow another person, known as a delegate, to receive and respond to meeting requests on your behalf.

Open your calendar by clicking on the Calendar banner at the bottom of the window

  1. From the "Folder" tab, choose Open Calendar in the "Share" section to expose the drop-down options.

  2. From the drop-down, click Open Shared Calendar...

  3. Enter the name of the calendar or person whose calendar you'd like to open. If you don't know the name exactly, click the Name... button to search it. Once done, click OK

  4. The calendar will appear in the left-hand pane under My Calendars.
