Bowdoin will define broad, flexible college-wide standards for "look and feel," access for the disabled, copyright, and security, developed in tandem with guidelines for maintaining current information, archiving content, and so on.
Each department, course, faculty, and other College resource will have an up-to-date Web presence.
All Web materials either for use by students to fulfill requirements of a course or Bowdoin-sponsored independent research or for use by administrators and faculty to conduct College business should be on one of the monitored servers and not in a personal directory or on a non-Bowdoin server.
