Print job not displaying on release station

Introduction

Print jobs sent through the PolarPrint system or sent via the MobilePrint process will appear on some or all release stations across campus. In some cases release stations are stand-alone computers or terminals near a printer, in others the release station is a piece of software installed on a physical printer and accessed through the printer's touch panel.

Possible Solutions

  • If printing on the main floor of Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, or if you sent a print job from MobilePrint, you can check to see if your job appears on a different release station.
  • Make sure that you submitted your print job using your Bowdoin username or, if you are a guest, using the username printed on the front of your print card. If your username does not match what is on file for your ID card, your print jobs will not appear to you on a release station.
  • For more information, see the knowledge base article referenced on the right.
