Help! I have an IT-related issue and I'd like some help, please.

Game consoles including the Sony PS3, PS4, Microsoft Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo's Wii U and Switch, most media streaming devices such as a Roku Streaming Stick+, the Apple TV and the Amazon Fire Stick and smart speakers such as the Amazon Echo need to be registered in order to be able to access the wireless network.

Bowdoin has a large range of software titles available to faculty and staff that can be used for anything from office productivity to research. You can request an installation of a software title from here.

There are hundreds of network locations in which are stored millions of files that are used by a variety of faculty, staff and students across campus. Use this form to request access to those files as required by your position, job or class.

Please Note:
A minimum of a 2-week lead-time is required for all events and assistance is only available on a first-come, first-serve basis with classes taking priority.

- Furniture and lecterns can be requested through Campus Scheduling
- AV Services does not supply equipment for bands

VPN access may be available to faculty, staff, students and some research assistants. If you would like to request access, use the form attached to this service.

The following is just an example of what you can request assistance with:

Request a new IP Phone to be installed in a room
Request that an extension be added to a phone
Request an extension to be removed from a phone

Request access to a shared calendar.

Request card access and/or keys for an individual or group.

The College's current license agreements provide for faculty and staff to download and install all Adobe products on Bowdoin-issued computers as well as personal computers. You can request access to the licenses through this form.

Request help managing a new system implementation or an IT-related project for your department.

Submit service requests for the main Bowdoin website.

Request training on Bowdoin's classroom AV technology. Training can include any of the basic features available in most of Bowdoin's classrooms except for the Tecnology Enhanced Spaces.

Request service for issues relating to any classroom and/or AV technology in a classroom. This can include the computer, projectors, audio issues, bluray players, etc.

IMAP and POP are older, less secure protocols used to retrieve email. In some cases, software is written to only support one or both. If there is a business need to enable either IMAP or POP for an email account, you may request access.
