Help! I have an IT-related issue and I'd like some help, please.

There are hundreds of network locations in which are stored millions of files that are used by a variety of faculty, staff and students across campus. Use this form to request access to those files as required by your position, job or class.

Game consoles including the Sony PS3, PS4, Microsoft Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo's Wii U and Switch, most media streaming devices such as a Roku Streaming Stick+, the Apple TV and the Amazon Fire Stick and smart speakers such as the Amazon Echo need to be registered in order to be able to access the wireless network.

Bowdoin has a large range of software titles available to faculty and staff that can be used for anything from office productivity to research. You can request an installation of a software title from here.

VPN access may be available to faculty, staff, students and some research assistants. If you would like to request access, use the form attached to this service.

The College's current license agreements provide for faculty and staff to download and install all Adobe products on Bowdoin-issued computers as well as personal computers. You can request access to the licenses through this form.

Students and Faculty do NOT need to request access. They should have access to Polaris automatically.

Request the creation of a Course folder for use in the current academic semester. All course folders are removed at the conclusion of a semester to make room for the next semester's requests.

Duo 2-step or 2-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security for accessing some Bowdoin services, such as Workday and Webmail, by requiring authorization from the phone, a mobile device or custom hardware device before allowing you to access the service.

Blackboard is a web-based tool which students and faculty use to share educational resources with each other. Use the form on this page to request a new feature or to report a software bug.

A distribution list can be used to send e-mail messages to multiple people at once by sending mail to a single e-mail address. This form will allow you to request a distribution group that contains only @bowdoin.edu addresses.
