Sills Hall, Room 109

Sills 109 is a standard classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a classroom environment, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology use into their coursework. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate audio and video presentations.

  • Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.
  • HDMI and Ethernet Laptop/iPad connections available at the Instructor's Station.
  • 17" wide-screen LCD monitor.
  • Logitech 1080p Webcam w/built-in microphone.
    • NOTE:  Primary Zoom/MS Teams device!
  • A list of software for either operating system can be found here.

A/V Technologies:

  • NEC NP-PA550W Data Projector.
    • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1280 x 800.
  • Extron Push-button System Controller.
    • Controls audio, video inputs, and projector functions.
    • Note: Controls are located on the front face of the Instructor Station, right side.
  • Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD/MP3 Player.
    • Note: Player is located on a shelf, right side of Instructor Station.
  • Room Audio.
  • Digital Document Camera.
  • Vocal reinforcement Instructor:  Yes - Bluetooth Lavalier to room audio.
  • Vocal reinforcement Audience:  Yes - Catchbox to powered room audio.

  • 2 wall-mounted chalk boards.
  • Pull-down window blinds.
