Remove the Service Price from Microsoft Bookings

Issue/Question

• Why is there a price showing next to my appointment type?
• How do I remove a service price from my booking page?
• I don't want to charge for my appointments, how do I remove the price option?

Environment

• Oregon State University
• OSU Employees
• MS Bookings

Cause/Explanation

Microsoft Bookings was originally created for small businesses. Some features in Bookings, such as pricing, does not apply to most uses at Bowdoin. You can add, edit, and remove a price listing from your appointment types.

Resolution

1. From the Microsoft Bookings webpage, select the "Services" tab on the left-side menu
2. Open the specific service you wish to edit by clicking on the service name
3. Scroll down to "Default price"
4. Change selection to "Price not set"
5. Click Save to save your changes
