Sending a fax from a printer with PaperCut installed

Issue/Question

• The printer I use is now on PaperCut. How can I send a fax?
• How do I send a fax to a PaperCut printer?

Environment

Multif-function print/scan/fax devices that are configured by IT to support faxing will continue to send and receive faxes exactly as they could before PaperCut. There is an additional step to access the fax preferences. The steps below will guide you through those steps.

Resolution

To access the Fax options and preferences from PaperCut, follow these steps:

•  Sign in to PaperCut at the device, either vy tapping your OneCard ID or using your username and password on the device.
• Tap the Device Functions button.
  
  
   
• Tap the Fax button on the screen.
  
  
   
• Use the device's fax interface to send the fax. Either enter a phone number manually or choose a fax number from the assigned destinations, if available.
  
  
   
• Tap on Specify destinations and enter the recipient phone number and tap Finish
   
  Remember
  
  For off-campus numbers, you must enter the complete 10-digit phone number such as 1-207-725-3030. Do NOT enter a '9' to dial an outside line. This is no longer required.
  
  For on-campus numbers, only use the 4-digit extension.
• When ready to fax, tap Start
