Environment

This information is used with the PaperCut Client app, also known as "pcclient". It is intended for those who told the client software to remember your password always, but have changed your Bowdoin password.

Reset your PaperCut Client

In order to reset the PaperCut Client to be able to enter your new password, you will need to delete a file from your computer. The file location will vary depending on your operating system.

Reset your settings for macOS

  • In macOS, navigate to the following location: /Users/[your username]/Library/Preferences/PCClient
  • Delete the file named "pc-auth.cookie"
  • Restart either the PaperCut client or reboot your computer for the change to take affect.

Reset your settings for Windows

  • In Windows, navigate to the following location: C:\Users\[your username]\
  • Delete the file named "pc-auth.cookie"
  • Restart the PaperCut client or reboot your computer for the change to take affect.
