Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin-managed and personally owned Windows 11 and macOS computers that use PaperCut MF for printing. Use these steps if the PaperCut print window is not appearing, or if the client is not running in the background.

Resolution

Windows 11

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. In the search bar, type PaperCut.
  3. Click PaperCut MF Client in the results.
  4. If prompted to sign in, enter your Bowdoin username and password.

If you do not see it in search:

  1. Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
  2. In the "Open" field, type:
    "C:\Program Files\PaperCut MF Client\pc-client.exe"
  3. Click OK.

Once running, you should see the PaperCut icon in the system tray near the clock.

macOS

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Click Applications.
  3. Double-click PCClient.
  4. If prompted, sign in with your Bowdoin username and password.

If you prefer using Spotlight:

  1. Press Command (⌘) + Space.
  2. Type PCClient.
  3. Select PCClient from the list.

When the client is running, you will see the PaperCut icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
