Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin department publishers who create or edit bulletins in Carousel Cloud. Scheduling options are set on the Schedule tab that appears when you create or edit a bulletin.
Resolution
Open the bulletin you want to schedule (either while creating it or by editing an existing one) and select the Schedule tab.
Run a bulletin indefinitely
- Leave Always Active turned on and keep the daily availability at its defaults. The bulletin stays active in the zone's rotation with no end date.
Set a start and end date
- Turn off Always Active.
- Set a Start Date and Start Time for when the bulletin should begin appearing.
- Set an End Date and End Time for when it should stop.
- Save the bulletin.
Note: A bulletin with a future start date stays in the Upcoming status until it activates. When its end date and time pass, it moves to the Expired status and stops appearing on the display.
Limit a bulletin to certain days and times
Use the Daily Availability settings to choose the days of the week and the times of day the bulletin is active within its schedule. For example, to run a bulletin on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, uncheck Saturday and Sunday, set the start time to 9:00 AM, and set the end time to 5:00 PM.
