The Picture Study Room is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional small meeting room setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations.
Location: Visual Arts Center, Room 102.
Hours: Open by reservation.
Room Type: Classroom.
Seating Capacity: 20.

Technology
Instructor Station, Podium or Presentation Area:
Presentation Computer: This room does not have an instructor computer, it is laptop carry-in only.
Podium or Table: AirTouch sit/stand instructor desk (Push the lever to gently raise or lower the desk to suit your needs).
- Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.
Installed Room Audio-Visual (AV) Technologies:
Projector or Display: Panasonic PT-RZ870 Hi-Definition Laser Projector.
- Ceiling mounted, native resolution of 1920 x 1200, 1080p (8500 Lumens of brightness).
AV System Controls: Table Top Crestron touch panel controls.
Blu-Ray/DVD/CD System: There is a Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player, it is located in the AV rack in the cabinet at the far end of the room.
Audio: Room Audio with wall-mounted front speakers.
Vocal Reinforcement:
- Instructor: Yes - CatchBox Lavaliere microphone/body pack to room audio with rechargeable dock (Resides on top of the Instructor Desk).
- Audience: Yes - CatchBox microphone (Resides on top of the Instructor Desk).
- NOTE: The PTZ web camera, lavaliere and CatchBox are the primary Zoom/MS Teams devices!
Document Camera: Lumens Document camera (Next to the AV rack).
Room Camera: There is an AV integrated ceiling-mounted room camera.
- Note: This camera is the primary camera for Teams and Zoom.
Wireless Presentation: Wireless presentation available via Apple TV.
- Supports AirPlay for macOS and iPadOS. Use Ditto for Windows.
- 1 wall-mounted chalk board.
