Installing Adobe Creative Cloud for home use or Bowdoin Computers

Faculty and staff are able to access the entire suite of Adobe applications for installation on up to 2 home computers. The following instructions will walk you through logging in to Adobe's website to access the software.

Students are currently licensed for accessing Adobe applications on their personal machines and the Adobe products are installed on most computer labs on campus.

How to download and install Adobe applications

For Bowdoin computers

Windows Computer

1. Click the search field next to the start menu and search for Company Portal
2. select Adobe Creative Cloud and click Install

Mac OS

1. Click Finder
2. select Applications
3. Open Self Service
4. Select Adobe Creative Cloud
5. Click Install

For Home Use

The steps shown in the video are as follows:

  1. Open a web browser, go to www.adobe.com and click the "Sign In" link in the upper-right hand corner of the page.
  2. Enter your full Bowdoin email address and click Continue.


     
  3. Choose Company or School Account
     
  4. You will be brought to Bowdoin's Okta login page (the same page that is used for logging in to Office 365 or Workday). Enter your email address and password. Once you login, you'll be redirected to Adobe's website where you'll be able to download the product(s) that you'd like to install.
