How do I uninstall a Creative Cloud app such as Acrobat DC, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator?

This guide provides instructions to uninstall a Adobe Creative Cloud app from a Windows or Mac computer using the Adobe Creative Cloud app.
Resolution
Follow these steps to uninstall an Adobe Creative Cloud app:
- Close Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Open the Adobe Creative Cloud application: Find the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app on your computer. You'll frequently find it in your applications folder on a Mac, or in the All Programs list in the start menu on Windows.
- View your installed apps: In the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to the 'Apps' tab to see a list of your installed Adobe apps.
- Uninstall the app: Next to the app you want to remove, you’ll see either ‘Open’ or ‘Update’. Click the three dots to the right of this, then select 'Uninstall’.
- Confirm the uninstallation: You will be asked to confirm that you want to uninstall the app. Confirm your choice to begin the uninstallation process.
- Complete the process: Follow any on-screen instructions that may appear to fully uninstall the app. This might include closing certain programs or stopping ongoing tasks.
If needed, you can also reinstall the app from the Creative Cloud desktop app under the 'Apps' tab by selecting the 'Install' button next to the uninstalled app.
