Resolution

There are two common ways to sign in to Microsoft 365 at Bowdoin. Both use your Bowdoin email address and password.

Sign in through the Bowdoin login portal

Use this method to reach the browser-based Microsoft 365 tools, such as Outlook on the web, Teams, and Word for the web.

  1. Go to login.bowdoin.edu.
  2. If you are not already signed in, enter your Bowdoin email address and password.
  3. Select the tile for the Microsoft app you want to open. The app opens signed in to your account.

Sign in directly at the Microsoft 365 portal

  1. Go to office365.bowdoin.edu.
  2. Enter your credentials at Bowdoin's organizational sign-in page to open the Microsoft 365 portal.

Sign in from a Microsoft app (OneDrive, Outlook, mobile apps)

When you set up OneDrive for Business, a Microsoft 365 mobile app, or Outlook, Microsoft shows its own sign-in page first, then hands you back to Bowdoin to enter your password.

  1. At the Microsoft sign-in page, enter your Bowdoin email address and select Next.
  2. Microsoft redirects you to Bowdoin's organizational sign-in page. Enter your Bowdoin password to finish signing in.
