Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin website editors who maintain academic sites in the Cascade Content Management System (CMS).

  • Audience: Academic department and program site editors.

Resolution

Each academic site has a page called Courses which displays the current semester's courses and descriptions automatically. The courses are pulled into each site from Banner/Classfinder; this page is not editable within academic websites.

Note: There is a slight page-load lag while the courses load.

How to Request Updates

If you need to update the courses listed — or there is an error in what is being listed — contact the Office of the Registrar. No action is required from site editors.
