Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students using an Azure Virtual Desktop on a Mac running macOS Sequoia (15.x) or Tahoe (26.x). Resolution
Add a Folder for Redirection in the Windows App
- Open the Windows App from your Applications folder.
- Right-click on your virtual desktop and choose Edit.
- Click the Folders tab.
- Click the + sign and select the folder from your Mac that you want to make available inside the virtual desktop.
- Click Save.
Locate Your Redirected Folder Inside the Virtual Desktop
- Sign in to your Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Click the search bar at the bottom left of the screen.
- Type
This PC and press Enter.
- Your redirected folder will appear under Redirected drives and folders.
