Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students using an Azure Virtual Desktop on a Mac running macOS Sequoia (15.x) or Tahoe (26.x). Resolution

Add a Folder for Redirection in the Windows App

  1. Open the Windows App from your Applications folder.
  2. Right-click on your virtual desktop and choose Edit.
  3. Click the Folders tab.
  4. Click the + sign and select the folder from your Mac that you want to make available inside the virtual desktop.
  5. Click Save.

Locate Your Redirected Folder Inside the Virtual Desktop

  1. Sign in to your Azure Virtual Desktop.
  2. Click the search bar at the bottom left of the screen.
  3. Type This PC and press Enter.
  4. Your redirected folder will appear under Redirected drives and folders.
