Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin students and alumni. Handshake is an employer-engagement and career-networking service that lets you search and apply for jobs and share information (such as a resume) with prospective employers. Bowdoin's Career Exploration and Development (CXD) office also uses Handshake to post events and job fairs and to schedule appointments.
Resolution
Log in to Handshake
- Students: sign in at bowdoin.joinhandshake.com with your Bowdoin email.
- Alumni: work with Career Exploration and Development (CXD) to create a login.
Using Handshake
Handshake is designed to be intuitive and needs little setup — search and apply for jobs, upload a resume, and register for CXD events. General usage guides and videos are available from Handshake Support (see Additional Resources).
Password help: Information Technology cannot reset a Handshake password. For login or password problems, contact Handshake Support directly (see Additional Resources).
