View Usernames and Reset MFA for Friends and Family for Students

Overview of Process

Students can view usernames and reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Friends and Family members they've granted third-party access to in order to assist them with login issues they may encounter.

Why Students May Need This Information

  • Students being able to see their third party's username can assist your Friends and Family users with troubleshooting login issues or changing their passwords.
  • If you update a Friends and Family user's email address you must reset their MFA to allow them to log back in to Workday.

How to View Usernames and Reset MFA

  1. Navigate to the Reset Authenticators for Student Friends and Family (MFA Reset) page: https://bowdoin.us1.teamdynamix.com/tdapp/form/FamilyAndFriendsMFA
    Your friends and family members will be listed along with their usernames.

    Note: If you only wish to view the username, no further action is required.
  2. To reset MFA for a Friends and Family user, check the blue box next to their name and click "Reset MFA for Selected Guardian."

  3. Once the reset is complete, a confirmation message will appear. Please remember to notify your Friends and Family member, as Workday does not send them a notification.
