Jewett Hall, Seminar Room, Room 102

Jewett Hall 102 is a classroom that offers professors the flexibility of instructing students in a traditional setting, while at the same time allowing them to bring technology into their instruction. The classroom is designed to help professors and students give elaborate multimedia presentations.

Instructor Station, Podium or Presentation Area:

Presentation Computer: This room does not have an instructor computer. It is laptop carry-in only.

  • HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad Hook-up available at instructor's station.

Podium or Table: AirTouch sit/stand instructor desk (Push the lever to gently raise or lower the desk to suit your needs).

 

Installed Room Audio-Visual (AV) Technologies:

Projector or Display: Laser Projector.

  • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1920x1200.

AV System Controls: Crestron touch panel controls.

Blu-Ray System: There is no Blu-Ray player in this room. Blu-Ray player available by request.

Vocal Reinforcement:

  • Instructor: No.
  • Audience:  No.

Document Camera: Document camera available by request.

Room Camera: There is a ceiling-mounted room camera.

  • This camera is the primary camera for Teams and Zoom.

Wireless Presentation: Wireless presentation available via Apple TV.

  • Supports AirPlay for macOS and iPadOS. Use Ditto for Windows.

 

Additional Information

Writing Surface: 3 wall-mounted whiteboards.

Shades: Manual pull-down window shades.

Lighting: Manual lighting controls.
