Find Your Bowdoin ID Number

Bowdoin College employees and students can find their official ID number. This information is viewable on both desktop and mobile versions of Workday, and no special access is required.

Environment

This article applies to all current Bowdoin College employees and students with active Workday accounts who need to locate their Bowdoin College-issued Employee or Student identification number. 

Resolution

Follow the steps below to find your Bowdoin Employee ID or Student ID in Workday:

1. Log in to Workday using your Bowdoin username and password.
2. From the Workday home screen, click on the profile icon or your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
3. Select View Profile from the drop-down menu.
4. On your profile page, click the Summary tab located on the left-hand side navigation menu.
5. Locate the field labeled Employee ID (for staff and faculty) or Student ID (for enrolled students). This is your official Bowdoin College ID number.
6. You can copy this number if you need to enter it into forms or records.

If you are using the Workday mobile app, the steps are similar. Tap on your profile icon, and locate your ID on the main page.
