Install the Mrs. Eaves Font on Your Bowdoin Computer Using Adobe Creative Cloud

Bowdoin College faculty and staff can install the official Mrs. Eaves font on their managed Mac or Windows computers by signing in to Adobe Creative Cloud, searching for the font, and activating it. Access to Adobe Fonts requires a Bowdoin email account, and the font will be available for use in most design and word processing applications following activation.

Environment

This article applies to Bowdoin College faculty and staff who need to install Mrs. Eaves, Bowdoin’s official font, on institutional computers. Devices must have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud app. Follow these steps if you are using a Bowdoin-managed Mac or Windows device. Students and users on personal devices may have different access; check your eligibility as needed.

Resolution

1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud application on your computer. If you do not have it installed, use the Self Service app (Mac) or Company Portal app (Windows) to install Adobe Creative Cloud. For instructions, see Installing Adobe Creative Cloud at Bowdoin.
2. Sign in to Adobe Creative Cloud with your Bowdoin email address and password. If prompted, choose “Company or School Account.”
3. In the Adobe Creative Cloud app, click on the “Fonts” tab in the left menu. This may also be labeled “Manage Fonts” or “Adobe Fonts.”
4. Use the search bar to type and find “Mrs Eaves.”
5. Select the Mrs. Eaves font family from the search results.
6. Click the “Activate Fonts” button. The font will begin syncing to your computer; it should be available in most design applications and word processors within a few minutes.
7. If you do not see the font available after activation, try restarting the application you wish to use, or consult the Adobe Fonts User Guide for troubleshooting tips.
