Environment
Bowdoin College offers four wireless networks:
- BOWDOIN and eduroam – Main networks for students, faculty, staff, and Emeriti. Guests from participating institutions can also use eduroam.
- BOWDOIN-GUEST – For visitors without Bowdoin credentials. Requires name and email. Limited access.
- BOWDOIN-PSK – For devices without WPA2 Enterprise support. Registration and special password required.

Resolution
Follow these steps to connect your iPhone or iPad to BOWDOIN or eduroam.
TIP: Use your full Bowdoin email for eduroam (e.g., jdoe@bowdoin.edu). Use just your username for BOWDOIN (e.g., jdoe).
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Select BOWDOIN or eduroam from the list.
- Enter your Bowdoin username and password.
- Tap Join.
- When prompted, tap Trust to accept the security certificate.
