Environment
This applies to faculty, staff, and students presenting in Roux Center for the Environment 207 North and South. Roux 207 is a flexible space that can be used as two separate rooms or one combined room; the touch panels change their control scheme based on the position of the air wall. This guide covers Presentation Mode only. For Active Learning Mode, please contact IT or see the Active Learning guidance for this room.

Resolution
Splash Page
Depending on whether you are in 207 North or South, your splash page looks slightly different. 207 North uses a 15-inch in-wall touch panel; in 207 South the instructor monitor doubles as your touch interface. Tap the screen to start the system. The QR code in the bottom right links to this instructional page.

Lighting and Shades
The buttons to the left of the QR code open the lighting and shades control pages.

Mode Select
After you tap the splash page to start the system, you will be prompted to choose a mode. You can use this system in Presentation Mode or in Active Learning Mode. This page covers what happens after you select Presentation Mode.
Starting Up
After you select your mode, you will see a page with a timer counting down the time left before you can use the system.
Main Page
Once the system is ready, the main page is displayed. The default source is the instructor computer. In 207 North you will see a message in the center pane letting you know the instructor computer is selected and that there are no controls for that device on the touch panel.
In 207 South, you will see a preview of your instructor computer on the touch interface:
Selecting a Source
Your available sources are in a row starting at the top left of the screen. When a source is selected, its button is highlighted black; when it is not selected, it has a transparent background. In 207 North you have an extra source: the whiteboard functionality of the interactive projector.
Because this space has an interactive projector, you can disable your ability to use the interactive touch functionality of the fixed whiteboard/projector screen. Using Whiteboard mode together with disabling touch gives you a blank white image to write on with markers without interacting with the on-screen controls. To regain interactivity, tap the touch-disabled button when it is red.

Using the Blu-Ray Player
Tap the Blu-Ray icon. Because Blu-Ray is the selected source, the player controls appear in the center pane. Controls vary by player model. If the player is not displaying, first press the power button on the control pane.
Volume and Image mutes
The volume slider is in the center of the bottom pane no matter what source is selected. Use the volume mute button to the left of the slider to silence the audio.
The Image Mute button completely blanks whatever is showing on the screen.
Controlling the cameras
Depending on the space or mode you are in, you will have access to North's two cameras, South's two cameras, or all four cameras. In North separate mode, you can select either camera for control:
In North combine mode, you can choose four different cameras to control.
In South, the camera pages operate the same way; the only difference is that you get a small preview of your camera on the monitor when you select it.
Help Page
The help page is accessed with the icon next to the power button. It includes a QR code that opens this instructional page and the service desk line for classroom emergencies.
Shutting down the system
The power button is the power symbol in the top right of the screen. Pressing it brings up a shutdown confirmation page, where you can shut down the system or return to the previous page.

When you confirm, the room shuts down automatically and returns to the splash page after a brief cool-down page.
