Environment

This article applies to any Bowdoin College student, faculty, or staff member who receives a "No Profile" error when attempting to log in to CampusGroups. The error typically appears after signing in successfully with Bowdoin credentials but being unable to access CampusGroups services. It commonly occurs for accounts that were recently created or recently updated.

Resolution

Step 1: Log out and clear your browser cache

Log out of CampusGroups and fully close your browser. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then reopen the browser and try logging in again at https://bowdoin.campusgroups.com.

Step 2: Check your Bowdoin account status

Confirm you are logging in with your active Bowdoin College account. If your account was recently created or updated — for example, if you are a new student, faculty member, or staff member — it may take up to 24–48 hours for all systems to sync.

New students: New students will not have access to CampusGroups until late May. If you are a continuing student and still see this error, proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Contact IT if the issue remains

If you still see the "No Profile" error after following the steps above and waiting 48 hours, contact the IT Service Desk. When reaching out, provide your Bowdoin email address, describe the error you are seeing, and mention any steps you have already tried.
