Is Visio an available application on campus?
Environment
Visio is an application provided by Microsoft for Windows 10 that can be used to create diagrams, line drawings, flow charts and org charts. Visio is only available for Windows 10 and is not part of the standard Microsoft 365 suite.
Resolution
- Availability: Visio is not part of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools.
- Cost: There is a per-person cost for Visio.
- Request Process: Faculty or staff may request a license, but there may be longer than normal lead times for a license become available (up to a month).
- Approval: Manager approval may be necessary due to the additional cost for product.
- Student Eligibility: Students are not eligible for Visio through the college at this time.
