Technology

Instructor Station, Podium or Presentation Area:

Presentation Computer: This room does not have an instructor computer, it is laptop carry-in only.

Monitor: 21.5 monitor provides audio-video (AV) controls.

Podium or Table: AirTouch sit/stand instructor desk (Push the lever to gently raise or lower the desk to suit your needs).

  • Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop and iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.

Webcam:  There is no instructor workstation webcam.

 

Installed Room Audio-Visual (AV) Technologies: 

Projector or Display:  Barco 2K Cinema Laser Projector with Cinema Server.

Projection Screen:  Stewart fixed wallscreen series, SnoMatte 100 (96"V x 182.5"H, 206 Diagonal).

AV System Controls: Interactive Touch Panel Controls.

Blu-ray System: Two (2) Region Free Blu-ray/DVD/CD Players.

Audio:  8.2 Cinema surround sound.

Vocal Reinforcement:

  • Instructor:  Yes - Two Shure Lavaliere microphones/body packs to room audio.
    • Note:  Located on a shelf in the main AV rack.
  • Audience:  No.
    • NOTE:  Hanging ceiling microphones dispersed throughout the room.  The PTZ web camera, lavalieres and hanging microphones are the primary Zoom/MS Teams devices!

Hearing Assistance:

  • Present: Yes.
  • Type:  Hearing Loop (Inductive/T-coil):  Compatible with Telecoil-enabled hearing aids or cochlear implants for improved sound clarity and understanding. If a person does not have a compatible hearing aid and/or would like hearing assistance in a space, portable hearing devices are available.

Document Camera:  Upon request.

Room Camera:  There is 1 AV-integrated PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) room camera, it is located at the rear of the room, wall mounted.

  • Note:  This camera is the primary camera for Teams and Zoom.

Wireless Presentation:  Yes. Apple TV.

 

Additional Information: 

Writing Surface:  Wall mounted chalk board.

Shades: None.

Lighting: Digital ~ one control at the entrance, one at the instructor station.
