Questions
- How can I check my remaining generative credits for Adobe Firefly?
- Where do I find my generative credit balance in my Adobe account?
- Do I need a specific Adobe subscription to track my Firefly usage?
- Will I get a notification when my generative credits are low?
- What happens if I run out of generative credits in Adobe Firefly?
Environment
This article applies to users of Adobe Firefly who want to check their generative credit balance. Generative credits are used when accessing Firefly-powered AI tools across Adobe products, such as Adobe Photoshop (Generative Fill) and Adobe Illustrator (Text to Vector). The steps outlined here are applicable to Bowdoin staff, faculty, and students assigned the Adobe Pro licensing (not available on some public computers).
Resolution
- Go to the Adobe Account page and sign in using your Adobe ID.
- Once logged in, click on your avatar image in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Look for the Monthly Generative Credits section under your current plan details.
- Here, you will see the number of credits remaining, along with any renewal or expiration details.
- At this time, there is no way to increase the credits. They will reset monthly on the date shown. If you run out of credits, you will need to wait for the renewal date for more to be applied.
