How to share your LibreChat conversations
Sharing a conversation that you have had with a LibreChat model is easy. But why would you want to do that?
-
Collaborating or Getting Feedback
- You can send a conversation link to teammates, friends, or community members so they can see exactly what was said and suggest improvements, corrections, or next steps.
-
Demonstrating a Prompt or Workflow
- If you’ve crafted a prompt that produces great results, sharing the chat lets others replicate the process, learn from your approach, or adapt it for their own use cases.
-
Reporting Issues or Bugs
- When something goes wrong (like unexpected AI behavior), sharing the exact conversation helps developers or support staff understand the context and reproduce the issue for troubleshooting.
To share a conversation you can either click on the Export/Share icon at the top right hand corner of the chat window. Your name and any messages you add to the conversation after creating the link stay private:

or click on the three dots to the right hand side of the Chat name in the left hand Chat history column:

Previously created shared links can be viewed and deleted from the Settings area of your LibeChat account.
1 - Click on your name in the bottom left and corner of the chat history column and select Settings:

2 - Click on the Data Controls tab in your Settings and then click on the Manage button for Shared Links:

3 - Click on the Delete button next the shared links that you would like to remove.
