Druckenmiller 04 is equipped with audio/visual equipment that allows professors and students to give elaborate presentations in many different formats. The room is equipped with electronic sun and blackout shades and has two screens: an 84" manual screen, and a 120" (diagonal) screen.

Technology

Instructor Station, Podium or Presentation Area:

 

Presentation Computer: Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system.

Monitor: 21.5" instructor monitor that doubles as the touch panel room controls.

Podium or Table: Stationary instructor desk.

  • Note: HDMI, USB, and Ethernet Laptop/iPad hook-up available at instructor's station.

Webcam: There is no computer webcam.

  • NOTE:  Primary Microsoft Teams / Zoom cameras are the room cameras.

 

Installed Room Audio-Visual (AV) Technologies:

 

Projector or Display: Laser Projector.

  • Ceiling Mounted, native resolution of 1920x1200.

AV System Controls: Crestron interactive touch panel controls. The screen doubles as the presenter courtesy monitor.

Blu-ray System: Region Free Blu-ray player that also plays DVDs and CDs.

  • Note: Located in the AV rack next to instructor's station.

Audio: Room Audio with wall-mounted front speakers.

Vocal Reinforcement:

  • Instructor:  Yes - rechargeable lavalier.
  • Audience:  Yes - ceiling microphones.
    • Note: Lavalier and ceiling microphones are the primary audio inputs for Teams/Zoom.

Document Camera: Ceiling-mounted Digital Document Camera.

Room Camera: There are 2 AV-integrated room cameras. One facing the front of the room, one facing the rear of the room.

Wireless Presentation: There is an Apple TV in this room.

Writing Surface: 2 wall-mounted chalk boards.

Shades: Electronic window shades.

Lighting: Manual lighting controls.
