Environment
Bowdoin College offers four wireless networks:
- BOWDOIN and eduroam – Main networks for students, faculty, staff, and Emeriti. Visitors from other institutions can use eduroam.
- BOWDOIN-GUEST – For visitors without Bowdoin credentials. Requires name and email to connect. Limited access.
- BOWDOIN-PSK – For devices without WPA2 Enterprise support. Requires registration and special password.

Resolution
Use the steps below to connect your Windows 11 laptop to the BOWDOIN or eduroam network.
TIP: For eduroam, enter your full Bowdoin email (e.g., jdoe@bowdoin.edu). For BOWDOIN, use your Bowdoin username (e.g., jdoe).
- Ensure that Windows is managing your wireless connections.
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray near the clock.
- Select BOWDOIN or eduroam from the list.
- Enter your Bowdoin username and password.
- Accept the certificate if prompted.
