Turn on Live Captions

1. Navigate to your task bar and click on the section with the battery logo
   
   
2. Click on the Accessibility Tab in the pop-up menu, then toggle on Live Captions. Live Captions will display and caption any audio coming out of your computer.
    

 

Use Live Captions With your Laptop or External Microphone When Presenting

1. After following the steps above, navigate to the gear icon on the live caption bar
   
    
2. Hover your mouse over the Preferences section and click "Include microphone audio"
   

Personalize how captions are displayed

With live captions, you can personalize how captions are displayed. To choose where captions are displayed on your desktop:

1. Select the Settings  button in the live captions window.
2. Select Position.
3. Choose either Top, Bottom, or Floating on screen.

Make live captions easier to read

By adjusting the appearance of live captions, you can make them easier to read. To select a style that suits your needs:

1. Select the Settings  button in the live captions window.
2. Select Preferences.
3. Select Caption style. The Accessibility settings for Captions opens
