Introduced in the fall of 2015, the Media Commons brings together the former Scratch Space with the former Language Media Center into one new, larger, more useable space. The Media Commons features 10 iMac computers for student use, multiple video viewing workstations, a recording studio, a small group work room and a video viewing classroom.

The Media Commons features 10 iMac computers for student use, multiple video viewing workstations, a recording studio, a small group work room and a video viewing classroom.
Location: Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, Basement near the Electronic Classroom
Hours: Open when the Library is open
Room Type: Mixed use
Seating Capacity: 10 iMac computers for student use, 2 iMac Kiosks for general web work, 7 video viewing stations and plenty of comfortable seating.

- Various video viewing workstations with TV monitors and region-free DVD players and connections for accessing LaserDisc, VHS and Blu-Ray disks as well.
