Roux Center for the Environment, Room 212

Roux 212 is a classroom or small conference room designed to hold in-room and remote classes using web technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Skype or Zoom.

Hours: Open by reservation.
Room Type: Classroom.
Seating Capacity: 10.
Reservations: Contact the Campus Scheduler.


Technology


Available to the Instructor:

  • Mersive Solstice Pod (Wireless Presentation Solution).
  • Mac Mini providing Mac OS and a virtual Windows operating system (installed in the equipment rack, in the room)
  • A list of software for either operating system can be found here.

A/V Technologies

  • PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) web camera wall mounted under the TV.
  • Sharp 70" LED Display.
  • Crestron Touch Screen providing controls for AV, lights and shades.
  • Room audio.
  • Vocal reinforcement Instructor:  No.
  • Vocal reinforcement Audience:  Yes - Hanging ceiling microphones dispersed throughout the room.
    • NOTE:  The PTZ web camera and hanging microphones are the primary Zoom/MS Teams devices!
