Resolution
- Create a new folder for your screenshots:
- Open Finder by clicking the Finder icon in the Dock.
- Navigate to the location where you want to create the folder (for example, your Desktop or Documents).
- Right-click and select New Folder from the menu.
- Name the folder something like Screenshots for easy identification.
- Change the default screenshot location:
- Press Command + Shift + 5 to open the screenshot toolbar.
- In the toolbar, click Options.
- Under Save to, select Other Location.
- Navigate to the folder you created, Screenshots, and select it.
- Take a screenshot:
- Take a screenshot using either of these shortcuts:
- Command + Shift + 3 for a full-screen capture.
- Command + Shift + 4 for a selection-based capture.
- Screenshots will automatically save to the Screenshots folder.
