Environment

This article applies to all current Bowdoin College employees and students with an active Workday account who need to locate their official Bowdoin-issued Employee ID or Student ID number.

• Applies to: All Bowdoin employees (faculty and staff) and enrolled students
• Platform: Workday - accessible via web browser or the Workday mobile app
• Access required: None beyond a standard active Bowdoin Workday account

Resolution

Follow the steps below to find your Bowdoin Employee ID or Student ID in Workday.

On a web browser

1. Log in to Workday using your Bowdoin credentials.
2. Click your profile icon or your name in the upper-right corner of the page.
3. Select View Profile from the dropdown menu.
4. On your profile page, click the Summary tab in the left navigation menu.
5. Locate the field labeled Employee ID (for faculty and staff) or Student ID (for enrolled students). This is your official Bowdoin College ID number.

On the Workday mobile app

1. Open the Workday app and sign in with your Bowdoin credentials.
2. Tap your profile icon.
3. Your Employee ID or Student ID will be displayed on the main profile screen.
