Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin College faculty and staff who need to install Mrs. Eaves — Bowdoin's official typeface — on a Bowdoin-managed Mac or Windows computer. The Adobe Creative Cloud app must be installed and signed in with your Bowdoin account. Students and users on personal devices may have different access; check your Adobe license eligibility if needed.
Resolution
- Open the Adobe Creative Cloud app on your computer.

- Sign in with your Bowdoin email address and password. If prompted, choose Company or School Account.
- In the Adobe Creative Cloud app, click the Fonts tab in the left menu. (This may appear as Manage Fonts or Adobe Fonts depending on your version.)
- Use the search bar to search for Mrs Eaves.
- Select the Mrs. Eaves font family from the search results.
- Click Activate Fonts. The font will sync to your computer and should be available in most design applications and word processors within a few minutes.
Font not appearing after activation? Try restarting the application you want to use the font in (e.g., Microsoft Word, InDesign). If it still does not appear, see the
