Environment

This article applies to all Mac OS computer lab and classroom computers on the Bowdoin campus. It lists the minimum (baseline) software found on every such Mac; individual labs or classrooms may also have additional, location-specific software.

  • Audience: Faculty, staff, and students using Mac lab and classroom computers.
  • Scope: Standard software image on Mac lab and classroom machines. Windows lab and classroom software is covered in a separate article.
Note: The classroom and lab software image is reviewed and updated over the summer, so application versions may change between academic years.

Resolution

The following list of software is the minimum software found on all Mac OS lab and classroom computers campus-wide.
