Environment
This article applies to Bowdoin website editors who maintain academic sites in the Cascade Content Management System (CMS).
- Audience: Academic department and program site editors.
- Scope: The Courses page, which integrates with Banner/Classfinder. For the related requirements integration, see Requirements (Integration with CourseLeaf) in the Related Articles section.
Resolution
Each academic site has a page called Courses which displays the current semester's courses and descriptions automatically. The courses are pulled into each site from Banner/Classfinder; this page is not editable within academic websites.
Note: There is a slight page-load lag while the courses load.
How to Request Updates
If you need to update the courses listed — or there is an error in what is being listed — contact the Office of the Registrar. No action is required from site editors.
