Cascade 8 Content Management System (CMS)

Cascade is the content management system (CMS) software we use to publish content to the main Bowdoin website, www.bowdoin.edu. General Cascade how-to articles are available on the Hannon Hill website: https://www.hannonhill.com/cascadecms/latest/in... The articles in TeamDynamix are specific to the Bowdoin instance of Cascade.

Set Up Your Personal Web Space

How to activate your Bowdoin personal web space by running the websetup command over SSH — with steps for Windows (PuTTY) and macOS (Terminal) connecting to shell.bowdoin.edu — which creates a public_html folder and a starter index.html reachable at tildesites.bowdoin.edu/~username. Notes that PHP is off by default and that IT does not support building pages. Applies to all Bowdoin faculty, staff, and students.
