What is happening?
Later this summer, Information Technology will be making a modification to the way our customers log in to the VPN. This change will leverage the single sign-on technologies (Okta) used elsewhere and simplify the VPN login experience.
Why is this happening?
This change will bring greater security and simplicity when logging in to the VPN.
What does it mean for me?
Starting later this summer, customers will no longer need to enter a "Second Password" when logging in to VPN. Instead they will be shown a similar login screen as seen elsewhere, such as when logging in to Outlook Online, Microsoft Teams or Canvas. This will still require two-step authentication.
