Recently, Bowdoin fully decommissioned the last of the CAS servers. Starting October 26, 2021, users who had bookmarked the URL for Polaris and Polaris-admin with CAS redirect coding in the address will see the maintenance screen instead of a resolvable error.
If you (or a user you are working with) see the maintenance page when trying to access Polaris (Luminus) or Polaris-admin (Banner), you are using a URL with the CAS code in it. Please instead use the following URLs:
https://polaris.bowdoin.edu – Polaris
https://polaris-admin.bowdoin.edu/ - Polaris-admin (Banner)
If the change of URL doesn’t resolve the redirect, or there are other issues with Polaris and Polaris-admin access, please send along the ticket to Enterprise Systems.
