Bowdoin employees with alternative work arrangements are welcome to reserve working space in various locations on campus as needed. This web page will be updated to include additional shared workings paces across the College as they are identified.
Maine Street Station
A variety of desk and small office options are available as well as meeting and conference rooms for a variety of needs. The following options are available for short-term and one-off use:
- 8 Cubicles with Sit/Stand Desks
- 1 Standing Desk
- 1 Open Sitting Area
- 3 small huddle spaces (accommodates 3-4 people)
- 1 Medium open meeting space (accommodates 12-16 people)
- 1 Large Conference Room (accommodates 12-15 people)
Additional shared office amenities include:
- Color printer/scanner/fax machine
- Mobile whiteboards
- Many glass boards throughout the space for use
- 2 gender-neutral restrooms
- Relaxation, tech-free zone
- Shared lunch area
- Refrigerator
- Coffee maker
- Keurig Coffee brewer

Maine Street Station is open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday. An alarm is set automatically outside of those hours. Access is available at the door in the breezeway, next to the train station. A OneCard ID reader is just to the right of the door. A buzzer is also available if necessary.
