Overview of Process
Students can register for courses for an upcoming academic period during their registration appointment. Their appointment is determined by certain specific accommodations and their class standing during the semester into which they are registering. Faculty, ADCs, Office of the Registrar staff, and Office of the Dean of Students staff can view the start date and time of a student’s registration appointment from the student’s profile. Advisors can also see information about all their advisees’ registration appointments from the Advising or Registration sections of their BOW STU Advisor Dashboard.
View Student Registration Appointment
- Type student: followed by the student’s name into the Workday Global Search Bar and click Enter or Return on your keyboard.
Note: The BOW STU Find Academic Records report can also be used to search for a student and navigate to their student profile.
- Select the Student’s Name to view their profile.
Note: In order to see and select Student results, make sure to type student: before the student’s name or have Student as a saved category. If you do not, you may pull student and employee profiles for your search. To learn more about finding students in Workday or to set up Student as a saved category, refer to the Finding Students and Student Profile Overview.
- Click the Academics tab.
- Click the Registration Appointments sub-tab.
Note: If you do not initially see Registration Appointments in your list of sub-tabs, click the More button to see the full list of sub-tabs.
- View the student’s registration appointment information, including the start date and time for currently open and future registration appointments.
